We had Matty and Ryan for the weekend from friday evening till sunday evening. This is so that Kirk and Amy can move house with a bit of more relaxed rate (if there is such a thing with moving)
I was a little disappointed to find I'd not been asked to get the van and drive it as I have for all the other times theyve moved, but Kirk's decided that maybe it time for me to retire from the moving game due to me getting worse with my mobility.
Sooo we've got the lads and I was absolutel;y knackered by 7-00 o'clock that evening, so I dunno what state I'll be in by sunday afternoon. Matty has only one speed, warp 10!!!
They are going to the wifes firms BBQ saturday, that was to be fun,

This I'm told is the last move, well, until Amy sees another house she likes.

Well I dropped my little guys off at their new home and the house seems so empty without them.
True my legs and back felt as though they've had Michael Flattley perform "The River Dance" on them and I expected to probably suffer from cramp in bed but it was a joy to have them.
They went to bed and slept well friday night, despite Matty had a little problem in that he was in a strange bed but he had all his best mates with him (his teddies) and soon settled down.
They woke on saturday ready to go, Matty went with his Nan, his great nan and great aunty Millie to do the shopping and he stayed with his great nan all the time in the supermarket, of course she spoiled him with packets of dolly mixtures and other sweets.
Then in the afternoon we took them down to the missus firm's BBQ and both lads became an instant hit with all the people there, especially some of the young ladys there, mmmm not quite a year old and Ryan is a chick magnet already.
Well at the end and time to go home Matty had a little paddy cus he didnt want the bouncy castle to be let down, he wanted to stay.
Soo absolutely worn out both lads went to sleep with no trouble.

05-00 sunday morning "Gandad! Gandad!!" came the call from Matty's bedroom, I thought can I ignore it? I lay there listening and it turned out Matty was playing with some of Sheryls stuffed animals and didnt really need me, so I slid into sleep again to wake at 07-00 to find Matty had gone back to sleep, so I got up and had a few minutes peace for tea and stuff before we got them up.

My dog came to me earlier in the evening with a pleading look on his face as if to say take them home pleeeeeesssseee.
Well I took them home about quarter past seven and then I went through all my mail and stuff on the net. I felt as though I've been placed in a cement mixer with a load of bricks and left there for a day or so. I ache in places I didnt even know I had, and the dog?? He was spread out on his back on the floor in front of the fan trying to cool down.

I LOVE this post Laughing I bet you would have been less tired if you had done the move single handed yourself Laughing

Have you thought about hiring Matty out to single guys looking for a new babe to hanf off their arm? Laughing

I can also picture your dog, thanks for a great post, it really made me smile Smile
